You can create email mailboxes for any of your hosted domains directly from your TrexHost Hosting Control Panel. Follow the step-by-step guide below to set up a new mailbox in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Log in to your TrexHost Hosting Control Panel and navigate to Email > Mailboxes.
Step 2: Click on the CREATE A NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT button.
Step 3: Fill in the following fields:
Type in the desired email ID (e.g., yourname) and then select the domain from the drop-down menu on the right.
Example: yourname + @yourdomain.com = yourname@yourdomain.com
Password
Enter a password for your mailbox. This password will be used to:
- Log in to webmail
- Configure your email account in Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and other email clients
Tip: You also have the option to generate a random, secure password. Simply click the “Generate password” button.
Forward (Optional)
If you wish to forward all incoming messages from this mailbox to another email address, select the Forward checkbox and fill in the destination email address.
- Save a Copy – If you check this option, a copy of every forwarded email will also be saved in the original mailbox.
Note: You can also set up email forwarding at a later time after the mailbox is created.
Auto-Reply (Optional)
You can also create an autoresponder by selecting the Auto-Reply checkbox. A text area will appear where you can type your autoresponder message.
Common use cases:
- Out-of-office / vacation replies
- Acknowledgment of receipt
- Temporary absence notifications
Note: This is optional and can be configured at any time.
Size Limit
Choose the size limit for your mailbox. This determines how much storage space your mailbox can use.
Tip: If you anticipate receiving large attachments or a high volume of emails, consider setting a larger limit. You can always adjust this later.
Step 4: When you are ready, click the Add a Mailbox button.
Step 5: Your new email account will be successfully created and will appear in the list of mailboxes in your Control Panel.
